What employers actually read first
On Citadel an employer sees your name, your headline, your location and what you expect to be paid — before they open your CV. Get those four right.

When you apply for a job on Citadel, the employer does not open your CV first. They see a list of everyone who applied, and each person is one line: a name, a headline, a location, and a salary expectation.
Your headline is doing the work
A headline of “Accountant” tells them nothing they did not already know from the fact that you applied to an accounting job. “Accountant, six years in retail and FMCG, CPA(T) finalist” tells them whether to open the CV.
Write it as though it has to survive being read in two seconds, because it does.
Say what you expect to be paid
Leaving the salary expectation blank does not keep your options open. It moves you down the list, because the employer cannot tell whether they can afford you and has forty other people to look at.
Give a number. If you would move for the right role, say so in your cover note.
Location matters more than people think
Most roles on Citadel are in Dar es Salaam, Arusha and Mwanza, and most employers will not relocate a candidate for a mid-level position. If you are applying from another region, say in one line why that is not a problem — you are moving anyway, you have family there, you can start remote.
